A few weekends ago I went on an Adventure to the Snowy Mountains.
I had a half day to myself to take my time driving from Canberra, stopping along such places as Bredbo Christmas barn and some amazing road side pull-outs to take in the views of the area, moo at some cows and watch the sheep. I arrived late afternoon in East Jindabyne at my Air B&B for the night (where I was greeted by Mildred the fluffy cat), cooked myself a great meal for dinner, took in the incredible lake views and wandered through some fields to get a few snaps of the sun setting.
I packed up after a glorious nights sleep and made my way toward Thredbo village to get the best light for my Engagement session with Andrew & Tavi. Through glorious snow capped mountains (in December!) and tree canopies. I fell in Love with the Snowy Mountains .
Andrew & Tavi recently got engaged and and what better way to celebrate than a weekend surrounded by stunning wilderness, good food and each others company.
We went out to a beautiful bridge Andrew had found and enjoyed hearing the water flowing and birds chirping, hiked a little along the river side trail too which was great. It was lovely to be surrounded by Australian flora and fauna and be in each others company.
After the session we tucked into some lovely lunch at the pub whilst the rain poured down, safe to say I wish I was in the mountains every day!.
These two have so kindly let me share some images from our session together! Their wedding to follow in April, so keep your eyes peeled for more golden moments!
